Why PLOUMI RESERVE 1300+?

An early Koroneiki harvest from Crete, gentle cold extraction below 27°C and clearly defined quality targets: this is what PLOUMI RESERVE 1300+ stands for.

Why polyphenols matter: under the authorised EU claim, olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress when the oil contains at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil. We will use this claim for the new batch only if final analysis confirms eligibility.

Tasting profile

Green. Intense. Full of character.

For the 2026 harvest, we are aiming for a green-fruity style with distinctive bitterness and a peppery finish.

Target style: green-fruity · distinctively bitter · peppery

Our serving suggestion: a finishing drizzle over roasted vegetables, fresh bread or a simply dressed salad.

The final sensory profile can only be described after the new batch has been harvested and tasted.

Frequently asked questions

What does “1300+” mean before harvest?

1300+ refers to the target polyphenol content of at least 1,300 mg/kg. For the 2026 harvest, which has not yet been produced, this is a target rather than a confirmed measurement. Final values will be published after analysis.

Has the acidity of ≤ 0.3% already been confirmed?

No. This is also a target specification. Actual acidity will only be determined in the laboratory after the new batch has been produced.

When do I pay, and when will my order be dispatched?

You pay the full amount at checkout now. Dispatch is planned to begin between 28 and 31 October 2026. This product is not ready for immediate dispatch; delivery takes place after dispatch.

Do all packs contain the same olive oil?

Yes. Choose one, three, four or six glass bottles, each containing 500 ml of PLOUMI RESERVE 1300+ from the new harvest. The packs differ in bottle count, total price and price per litre.

How should I store my bottles?

Keep the bottles tightly closed, protected from light and away from heat sources. Follow the storage instructions and best-before date on the bottle you receive.
